Summer in the Dolomites

A feeling as great as the view over the peaks

Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites from up close, and on your own terms. Whether it’s by hiking, cycling or golfing, on a leisurely excursion or a thrilling challenge. Here are a few tips for your summer holidays.

Hiking

A pleasant walk through woods and Alpine pastures around the mighty Rosengarten massif. Or perhaps a climb to the summit of Mt. Weißhorn… what’s your pick?

Cycling

Whether you’re a mountain biker, a leisure cyclist or a fan of electric bikes, the Eggental valley has routes for every taste. Two of our favourites: the circular tour around Mt. Latemar and the adventurous Carezza Trail.

Climbing

The Vajolet Towers are a mountaineer’s dream, but the Rosengarten and Latemar mountains have so many via ferratas and climbing routes to offer that you will be spoilt for choice. Enjoy!

Golf

Just imagine… a golf course in the heart of the Dolomites. Well… here in the Eggental valley, we have two: the 18-hole golf course at Petersberg Golf Club and the Karersee golf course. Ready to take your game higher?

Motorbiking

Let us say, the ride through the Eggental valley is a highlight in its own right. What’s more, from here you can easily reach the amazing hairpin bends and winding roads of the Dolomites’ passes, or explore the most scenic places in South Tyrol.
